THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE;
* EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE OF EARLY YEAR FRAMEWORK, WITH THE ABILITY TO
PLAN, ORGANISE AND PARTICIPATE IN THESE EDUCATIONAL PLAY ACTIVATES.
* Planning daily/weekly activities for the children in your care
including artwork and other activities.
* Proficient knowledge in child development theories and practices.
* To fill in and maintain the appropriate records, assisted by
Childcare Management Software.
* To attend all meetings and training as required e.g. staff
meetings, team development, training.
* FULL KNOWLEDGE OF AISTEAR FRAMEWORK, SIOLTA QUALITY STANDARDS &
CURRENT CHILDCARE LEGISLATION.
* Capacity to implement childcare practice in line with
organisational policies and procedures.
* To promote good health, safety and hygiene standards within the
crèche and to follow all policies and procedures when dealing with
same.
* Respect all parents, children and families.
* Personal suitability to the LEDP values; integrity, respect,
collaborative, action-oriented, pragmatic, empathetic, altruistic.
REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:
* Minimum FETAC Level 5 in Childcare
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Good communication skills
* Garda Vetting
